The Adventurers Book Club (Formerly the Bookworms)

Attention Grades 5, 6, 7 and last but not least 8! You are being called to duty for a top secret club called the Adventurers. You will read books, play games, go on missions, and eat delicious cookies. The kinds of books we are reading involve fantasy, mystery and adventure! In search of the answer to the age old question: "What is an Adventurer"?

Secret meetings are held once a month in the basement of the Pembroke Public Library, aka Children's/Teens' Dept. Phone us at 613-732-8844, ext. 2.

The Adventurers book club has been meeting (as the Bookworms) since October 2009.

This is a chance to make new friends, talk about interesting books that you want to read and share some activities and snacks. You are welcome to join even if you can’t attend every meeting.

Mothers and Daughters together read the selected book for the month, then meet at the Library to share in their book experiences.

Meetings are held in the Children's and Teens Department, unless otherwise noted. The Library provides the books for you to read them in advance of the meetings. To register at the circulation desk in the Children's/Teens' Dept. or by phone at 613-732-8844, ext. 2.
